Costs:

Rolling chassis - $5000 (consider this a good deal. Would cost well over $10,000 if new)
Bottom end engine - $500 (came from Kawasaki Ultra Racing Jetski Racing Team. A used crank alone normally sells for this much)

Hunting trip started in 2007 and is nearly over for all the parts.

FBG 48mm carbs - $700
Main wiring harness - $100
Ignition CDI + coils - $150
Stator + cover - $175

Balancer gears and starter gear - $125
3-Tower Billet Primary Clutch - $440
BG - Artic Cat Secondary Clutch - $25

Mounting the engine to the frame is no simple task -- this is one of the most challenging parts of the project.
We had to engineer the jackshaft as well as the couple from the crankshaft to the primary clutch.
Still hunting for data logger and dashboard instrumentation.

Notice how short the engine is...that's because there is no conventional transmission.

Hopefully the rear slick has enough surface contact for a good launch.
